Gav Presents His ‘Four % Mark Up’ Bank Plan!

Hi,

Over Christmas I was mulling through three things which became apparent to me:

  1. Most of our betting capital we never use
  2. If we made more each day, our bank growth would be quicker
  3. If our bank growth was quicker, we would get to income bank status earlier

The Four % Mark Up Bank Plan

This really works with an amount of capital that is divisible by 3 and which can sustain a minimum stake for 75 to 100pts.

Let us say we have £300 capital, I want you to imagine the bank in four parts:

  • 1 x £300 (Target 2.5%)
  • 1 x £100 (Target 1.5%)
  • 1 x £100 (Target 1.5%)
  • 1 x £100 (Target 1.5%)

The above set up will enable a player to approach four different types of betting strategy here at The Horse Race Predictor.

Essentially we are using thirds of our capital for a much lower target but which is contributing to a much larger overall growth.

1.5% of 100 is 0.5% of 300.

Therefore, you will raise your overall capital each day by 4% if you land each element successfully.

Have you ever been following a strategy and it has a bad time, then you look at something else and it has had a wonderful time?

Well, this is an opportunity to hedge your capital and ensure that if one element underperforms it will be supported by another element and also have a good chance of everything performing well for a jackpot (in % terms) return!

In addition, how about this? You are targeting an overall 4% growth of your capital so if one bet yields a fantastic return like Mighty Tosh and his 13/1/2.14 winner at Fakenham the other day, you can just shut up shop with job done!

Then you simply redivide your new bank high point along the lines explained above.

What do I do?

I am following these elements and let’s use today with the £300 example above:

  • Top Rated – 2.5%
  • Method Maker – 1.5%
  • The Squire – 1.5%
  • Mighty Tosh – 1.5%

Cons

Like any methodology in betting, you do need bets that win and make a consistent return. I think anyone that spends a few days on this site knows that we have lots of those!

But if you do get losers, with my set up above your liability is higher overall, though mitigated by the very real prospect of first bet finishes and much faster overall gains!

Summary

  • We use our full capital for the bread and butter 2.5% average growth per day
  • We then divide our capital into thirds to use extra methods for a smaller % target per day
  • We always stop at 4% growth on our total capital, no matter what the state of play for an individual bank
