Lieutenant K: Quad Sequencing & Fav Placer – USA – ‘High strike rate, systematic betting to win and make daily target’

The Quads
These are made up from only the Purple & Green Races

A Quad is a series of 4 bets which aims to win a set % of the bank (I recommend starting with 1%), just 1 winner will see the aim met and the Quad stop.

e.g. Friday 3rd April

Quad 1
17:53 Tampa Bay 1
18:34 Gulfstream 2
20:08 Gulfstream 1
20:39 Gulfstream 1
LI 15.4%

1st column is the time of the race
2nd column is the place of the race
3rd column is the type of bet to place
1=favourite to win
2= dutch the top 2 in the market
3= dutch the top 3 in the market
Etc.

This quad results were

Quad 1
17:53 Tampa Bay 1 2 Lost
18:34 Gulfstream 2 2.62 Lost
20:08 Gulfstream 1 1.8 Lost
20:39 Gulfstream 1 1.9 Won
LI 15.4%

As you can see the 1st bet lost so the 2nd bet would be placed which also lost and therefore the 3rd bet would have be placed which also lost and therefore the 4th bet would have been placed which won so the aim would have then been made on the 4th bet.
If you have debit quad (all 4 bets loss) then the next day then aim is increased by 0.5 points until the loss is recovered. But don’t forget if you have 9 quads and 1 loses then you would take off the 9 points (the amount won from the other quads) from your debit amount. E.g. if your debit amount is -15 points then on the day it would be -7 points. The next day the aims for all the quads would be 1.5 points.

I suggest starting with just 1 quad per day until you get the hang of it then add more as you go along.

1 point = 1% of your bank

RECOVERY MODE

At the end of the day if a debit has happened then increase your aim by 0.5% the next day and until the debit has been recovered or if another debit happens then increase by another 0.5% (do this up to a maximum of 3%)

I have my stop/loss set at 45%

Before you start make sure you know exactly what to do (if your unsure please ask).

TIP: start off small maybe 1 or 2 quads (when you start off its best not to have more than 1 quad running at a time)

My bets are placed 10 seconds before the scheduled off time and are placed at the Best Price available with any unmatched bets going on at BFSP

The FavPlacers

These are races that the favourites do particularly well to get placed.

Normally a favourite will win 33% of the time & get placed 62% BUT by cherry picking the right races with a couple of filters we can look at about 80% strike rate.

Then using the right staking plan we can make the 2% profit per day that we need.

Staking Plan is PRO Staking

Divisor 1.2

Aim is 1%

Stop At 2%

Stop/loss is 35%

Maximum price is 2.0 (over 2.0 the overall strike rate is 49% BUT under 2.0 its 71%)

It depends on what you are talking about, the Quads I don’t think you can but the Favplacer you can (as you can only do it on single bets not dutch bets).

Re: the Quads? Do they leave best to manual staking rather than bot? Is your excel book for tracking available anywhere on the site.

Newbie but would like to try 1 Quad a day as look relatively low risk.

    Cheers

    Michael

I have found that manual staking is best as you can place the bets after post time but before they start BUT it is more time consuming e.g. last night if the bot was doing quad 2 it would have placed a dutch for the top 2 at post time BUT the 2nd favorite then drifted and became the 3rd favorite so I waited until they were at the start and placed the bet on the first 2 in the betting then (the new 2nd favorite won).

My excel book is mine and not on the website BUT if you are going to do the Quads my advice would be:

      1. Get the Quads Management Sheet from the site (as all you then need to do is copy & paste the Quads, enter the odds & enter if it was a Debit or Win) it works out all the staking for you & even shows you when the Quad is finished. There is also on it a Money Management sheet that you fill in day to day that tells you what your aim per Quad should be that day.

      2. If you are going to manually do them don’t do anything else until you get proficient at them (so you have no distractions).

      3. Record all your bets. (I found the best way to do this is with excel as I can copy & paste the quads into the post & management sheet easy).

      4. Start off with small stakes and get the hang of it before increasing your stakes.

      5. Make sure you use Gruss Betting Assistant to place the dutch bets as you just enter your aim for the bet, tick the horses you want to bet on then when the time is right just click the bet button.

      6. Ask questions, the forum is the ideal place for this as the answers are there for everyone to see (as somebody might be thinking they had the same question) and unlike the chat box things won’t get missed.

I think now during the lock down it a good time to start them as:
      1. there are not that many quads a day (when I was doing the UK there were up to 12 a day). When racing worldwide goes ahead I’m sure there will be Quads in the morning from Australia, afternoon from the UK, evening from USA and there might even start to be ones for South Africa.
      2. I’m here every evening to help if needed (for another month maybe until I can come out of self isolation).

      Hope this helps

Great help. Hunting around for Quad workbook and already downloaded!
Going to do one a day manually and going to set up with test bets on TBM to compare until I trust have well understood.

Just a bit confused even after looking at forum. Staking plan is SAW or Recovery from TBM?

SAW – from TBM “You have selected a Staking Plan where the stake is
calculated entirely on the bet odds. This means that SPLIT Bets over 2 markets cannot be placed. It also means that Dutch Bets to equal STAKES cannot be
    placed.”.

    Advice SAW or Recovery?

    All the best

    Michael

    • Lieutenant K says:

SAW as the recovery set up doesn’t let you recover all your losses (found this out the hard way).

Also we don’t do any split bets and the dutch stakes are to an overall profit not equal stakes.

  3. MichaelG says:

I am now comfortable placing Quads using TBM and manually using the Quadman excel workbook. I wish to raise the % to win from 1% to 2%.

    Using the Quadman is easy.
However on the TBM it looks like I have to a) under Recovery Staking Plan raise Per cent to bet to 2 and then b) and under Targets Stop Loss raise Fixed Amount to 0.2.

    Is this correct?

    Cheers

    Michael

    • Lieutenant K says:

I’m not sure as I NEVER increase the % aim (unless on a debit) if I want more profit I just increase the bank. Also if you double your aim from 1% to 2% you would need to double your stop/loss from 35% to 70% (at 35% you can hit it 3 times BUT at 70% you can only hit it once and your out).

      • MichaelG says:

Well if you never I certainly am not going to!

Re Pro Staking Plan for Favplacers. Have read explanation on TSM but still unsure of how to configure in TBM. Ditto with Targets & Stop Loss settings for Favplacers. Any screenshots on HRP anywhere I can copy?

        Do appreciate your help.

I have been adding manually but I see under Selections option to use Tipsters Tab where Quads are listed. But using this latter method it shows 4 Quads whereas in fact there are only 3 listed on the site plus it defaults to SAW and I thought Recovery was now the advised staking method. Sorry to be a pain but want to follow correctly. Can you clarify?

Hi LK – I would like to follow the FAV placer system. Could you tell me how you select them and what filters you use so I can place them manually please? Thank you
