Betting With Gav USA 2020 ‘Stetson & Six Gun’ Club: Introduction – Results & Bets: May 30th

Hi,

I wanted to get a new manual, site-wide Club up and running for interested members.

I will be running two £1K banks (now merged) for:

  • Dutch Platinum (any Dutch Gold or Dutch Diamond qualifiers)
  • Win Single Bets (can be played as Split Bet, Win or Place only, Multibet between win and place if the odds allow)

Action has already started in HRP Australia and there was a bet at Happy Valley earlier today.

So, each day I will use the same banks for the same type of bet but across the different countries, we follow racing in.

The Bet tactics in terms of profit targets and when I’m stopping are all on the Aussie Gav post and will be the same across all platforms.

A simple way of doing this is to just play all the bets to win and use a bigger bank of 150pts – but the strike rate will be lower obviously.

However, it’s just possible that returns overall will be higher.

100 Pt Recommended Bank

  • 50pt Main Reserve
  • 25pt Reserve
  • 25pt Frontline

 

  • Soon as you make a minimum of 3pts profit you put 1pt in the Main Reserve, 1pt into your Reserve and 1pt into the Frontline.
  • When you raise your Frontline 1pt you increase the overall point value.
  • So let’s take an example of £300 / 100 = £3 per point
  • Frontline Bank = 25pts = £75 + 1pt = £78 = £3.12 per point

Look, it doesn’t matter really whether you raise on 3 or 5pts but I like the idea of getting the incredible power of compounding working for us.

You always top up the Main Reserve, Reserve & Frontline by the same amount.

The fact is this, the quicker you compound the faster the capital grows.

Section A

1pt is our minimum win bet
If any bet loses, we increase the stake by 1pt
If we get a winning bet at the odds of 2 or above, then we decrease the stake by 2pts
However, our minimum stake is always 1pt

Section B

If the Place odds for the bet are around 1.6 or above, then we split our stake:

  • 25% to the Win element
  • 75% to the Place element

So essentially you are playing two separate bets, a win and a place.

If you are splitting the stake between 3pts it is 0.75pts Win and 2.25pts Place as explained above

If the next stake is 6pts and you are splitting it, then the split is 1.5pts Win and 4.5pts Place

Section C

After a winning bet from 1.73 to 1.99 we decrease the stake by 1pt

If there is a winner shorter than 1.73, keep on same stake for the next bet.

Section D

If there are two selections in the race you split the stake equally between both of them to Win.

** If your next stake is 4pts or more and you can achieve 1.6 or over for the ‘extra place market’ use that to optimise safety and ongoing sustainable profit

    I am going to join your posse if you will allow me!!!, and just wanted to clarify if there are 2 selections in a race and they are both over 1.6 for a place they would both be 25,75% spilt , or if 1 was short and the other was over 1.6 for a place, it would be a win bet on the shorty and a split on the bigger 1, or are they both win bets, also are we stopping at a profit or going through the card of selections, sorry for the questions

    These are good questions and show me you have gripped this. If both over 1.6 when two selections then take longest odds to place only if it’s over 2. Stop for the session everytime you make enough to reinvest in the bank. That’s the safest. Move onto a different method, perhaps.

      Cheers Gav all makes sense, I think I was making it more complicated than it needed to be!!, but just to summarise if the shorty wins we win, if just the longest odds place we minimum SAVE could win a bit as its over 2, ( a saver in old money), and if the shorty wins and the longest odds place we are on for double bubble!!!

    A good start last night. I ended up with just over half a point profit, but the odds were shifting around a bit on those place markets so I think I could have done better. But definitely worth sticking with it. Always looking for new methods while we wait for proper racing.

    Hi Gav, in the explanation you said “if the Place odds for the bet are around 1.6 or above, then we split our stake: 25% to the Win element and 75% to the Place element. However, in your table, 75% of the stake was placed in the WIN market. Also, you said 015 for TR WIN in the 19:15 race, but I think should be 20 in the TS WIN only. Regards.

    HI Gav, so yesterdays results 6 April, show the first 3 bets as spilt which I don’t think there where because they where all to short so they where 3 win bets @ -£20 , -40 , -60 but that’s fine as it still comes to the same, but then the 4th bet was a split but when we have a split you said its 25% on the win and 75% on the place but you have recorded it the other way round i.e 75% on the win and 25% on the place?

      Excellent Dennis. I have reset the suggested staking layout as I felt that TS & TR for BOTH Win and Place was a bit of a head muddled. So from today if the stake is split odds (1.6 or over) I intend to just reflect that in the single columns. Tip: Compound profit EVERY time you are ahead and increase your Point Value. It quickens bank growth appreciably. Keep in touch. Best, Gav

    Hi Gav,

    What do think would be the best place to stop if I do have unfortunate losing run?

    Currently, I have this set as: Max Points / Race before Stop: 10
    I aslo have my Win Point Stake at: 1

    Do you think the above is too conservative?

      If you are working a 100pt bank I think 10 is spot on. I have never seen 10 in a row, not ever. But that is not to day a challenging sequence is not possible. Just keep the figures going and eventually during a challenge the sequence will come good.

    Hi Gav, the selections do not appear every day. The Dutch selections can be taken from the Dutch Gold/Dutch Platinum areas on the HRP Method Suite. What criteria do you use for the single bet selections. All the best Garry.

      Hi Garry, the bets do generally appear each day, though it is true they didn’t on 17th. All the bets are from the Method Suite for Dutch Platinum and HRP Top Rated for the Single bets. The filters I use will vary from day to day.
