HRP Movers & Shakers
Movers = Selections that have significantly shortened from forecast odds to live odds
Shakers = Selections that have drifted from forecast odds to live odds
If a horse is forecast at 10/1 and appears in the live market at 5/1 it is a ‘Mover’ by a factor of 50%.
If a horse is forecast at 8/1 and appears in the live market at 16/1 it is a ‘Shaker’ by a factor of 100%
You can go to a website (which I won’t be naming) where they right now charging £1399 for a copy of a classic system called by a variety of names, most of them revolving around ‘Follow The Money’.
You need a copy of the Racing Post or a good betting forecast and you have to painstakingly go through every race to see which is at shorter odds in the live market compared to the forecast.
It’s a very labour intensive method and I actually know where to download the exact system for free – let alone pay £1399 for it!
The fact is that HRP Movers & Shakers is the secret jewel in our crown and no one that I know of uses it. But it does everything the classic system does in about 10 seconds as opposed to all day!
Filters for Movers = Odds Movement 45% and upwards – that’s it.
Maybe other filters such as runners or HRP Score work, I don’t know.
Make sure that the favourite or second favourite isn’t a non-runner as this will obviously affect the prices of the other horses left in the race.
I am writing this on Sunday 8th December and there were 11 selections today, with two winners at 8/1 and 28/1.
Yesterday there were 15 selections with a 146/1 winner in the 4th race and a 9/2 winner in the 8th race.
On the 6th December, there were winners at 3/1, 7/4 & 8/1 all within the first 6 races of the roster.
Staking
I recommend sequence staking with a much larger bank than usual, say 200 or even 300pts
1,1,1, 1.5,1.5,1.5, 2,2,2, 3,3,3, 4,4,4 5,5,5
The above sequence is 49.5pts and will stand a losing run of 18
We are in the main dealing with longer odds selections and the wait for that prized fish will be reflected by the longer odds.
Saying that there is a very good sized winner on most days.
